It's that time of the year again folks, Christmas shopping season! With our economy in it's current shape this may be the best year for amazing deals by all retailers. Before you do your shopping keep a few things in mind.

1. Just because things are cheaper doesn't mean you should buy more.

It's vital shoppers keep their budgets in mind. Retailers want to slash prices to lure you in. The mindset of an American Shopper is oh it's cheaper so I can buy more things. Think before you purchase, you may find yourself getting all your Christmas gifts with a little extra cash for yourself.

2. Black Friday may be a hectic day, but the deals are the best.

We all hate lines and waiting but it may put extra cash in your pocket. Black Friday is one of the most traveled days in the year. It may not be a great day to travel but the savings can average anywhere from 10-20%+ then any other day. The average two parent family with two kids spend almost $2,500 on Christmas shopping. A modest 15% could save you $375. It's definitely worth it.
